About Us: History
Questica Inc. was formed in 1998 to develop and market its flagship product, Questica SE, which had been in use
since 1994. Our core group of senior analysts, support personnel, and business managers bring decades of experience in working with clients to develop advanced,
intuitive and powerful solutions to challenging business problems.
Since then, we branched into developing budgeting software for the Public sector. TeamBudget, a web-based software
solution, was designed to integrate into and simplify the municipal budgeting process.
TeamBudget Capital was originally developed to resolve the capital budgeting issues that the City of Burlington’s existing software package could not address.
We worked co-operatively with the City of Burlington to develop a solution that addressed the unique problems in the capital budgeting process experienced by
municipalities. By leveraging the business knowledge of the City’s Finance Department, and adding our own technical and project knowledge, we were able to successfully
develop a software solution to meet the City’s needs. TeamBudget Capital is the only web-based capital budgeting solution developed by and for the public sector.
Throughout the years, with the help of our customers’ recommendations, we have continually added features to improve TeamBudget Capital. In 2007
TeamBudget Operating, a web-based budgeting solution, to streamline the operating budgeting process was introduced
after an intensive development schedule.
